The olive branch has a rich history as a symbol of peace around the world. For this reason, it is fitting that our inaugural sustainability strategy is named ‘How we extend the olive branch’ – it is our way of demonstrating our commitment to sustainable development, both now and into the future.
The journey ahead
Since becoming a publicly listed entity on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2021, we recognised the need to implement a more formal approach to sustainability that is in-line with mainstream expectations and corporate best practice. Our 2030 Sustainability Strategy is the first step in formalising our sustainability achievements and ambitions. This is not the beginning, nor is it the end of our sustainability journey, but provides a holistic and strategically aligned plan that addresses materially important topics and signals our intentions as an ambitious and responsible corporate citizen.
There is a lot to achieve, and this will require effort and change, but as a company we are committed to continuously improving our sustainability approach in a transparent manner.
