Cobram Estate sets Guinness World Record

On Thursday, 28 October 2021, Cobram Estate successfully set a NEW Guinness World Record, for the biggest virtual olive oil tasting ever!

Guinness World Records adjudicator announced live during the event that  “Cobram Estate and everyone watching has set a new Guinness World Records title for the most viewers for an olive oil tasting livestreamed”.

More than 18,500 people registered for the event, that was livestreamed on Youtube, with a confirmed 16,537 unique viewers on the night.

Previously the largest olive oil tasting record was set in 2009, in the Spanish city of Jaen,  where 12,909 people attended.

“We wanted to do something that would bring people together, and show that Aussies are World beaters at every level. We are ecstatic to have set a new World Record and want to thank everyone who joined us for what was a really fun night” Leandro Ravetti co-CEO and Chief Oil Maker.

Hundreds of prizes were won on the night, including 10 lucky people who won a years supply of Cobram Estate extra virgin olive oil, and another 10 people who won personalised gold bottles of Ultra Premium Hojiblanca.
